I wrapped this striking red pietersite in 14kt Gold Filled wire.

Pietersite is also called the Tempest Stone and was discovered in 1962 in Africa by Sid Pieters, it has also been found in China. It is composed of Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye fibers in quartz.
