Ammonite Pendant, Copper Wire Wrapped Ammonites, Whole Ammonite Necklace
I wrapped this gorgeous whole, fossilized ammonite in copper wire. I just love how there is a slight opalization in the center of the chambers spiral. You can also see the septa (the leaf-like patterns, which are the dividing walls that separate the chambers) very well in this specimen.
Like most of my pieces, I made this one double-sided to entirely capture the different characteristics of this one of a kind fossil.

Including the bail, the fossilized ammonite necklace measures 1 7/8" x 1 1/8" x 5/8" deep.
