Custom Wire Wrapped Sterling Silver Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Earrings, Turquoise Jewelry
For this particular pair of wire wrapped earrings, my customer requested turquoise earrings, so I pulled a couple of pieces of sleeping beauty turquoise from my inventory and specially wire wrapped this design for him in .925 sterling silver. I also handcrafted the hooks out of .925 sterling silver wire.
Sleeping beauty turquoise was mined in Globe, AZ. Sleeping beauty turquoise is highly sought after due to its pure blue sky color with the lack of veining or webbing. The mine was shut down in 2012, making sleeping beauty even more valuable and soon to be a rare gemstone!
These particular earrings, including the hooks, measured 1 1/2" x 1/2" ***
